TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. TARIFFS
A deposit will be required at the time of booking and balance to be paid 7 days prior to arrival except in high season when full payment must be received
30 days prior due to high demand over these periods or as arranged with the owners . Tariffs quoted are subject to change without notice. In
the event of a
tariff increase, bookings confirmed by deposit will be
honoured at the prevailing tariff at the time of booking.
2. BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS
Amounts can be paid by cash, cheque or direct deposits.
The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time with reasonable notice.
3. CANCELLATIONS
Deposits for bookings cancelled by guests will be refunded if a subsequent booking is available for the
property on the same dates or if reasonable notice is
given except in peak seasons. If bookings are cancelled in high/peak seasons less than 30 days prior
to arrival date and no booking is available for the property on the
same
dates then the deposit will be forfeited. The owners reserve the right to terminate the tenancy if these conditions are not adhered to.
4. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY & EXTRA CLEANING
The bond will be retained until after departure in case of damage and/or extra cleaning costs.By
proceeding with a booking, you authorise the owners to use
the bond for damage, breakages, extra cleaning and
rubbish removal of rubbish left outside of bins.
5. ARRIVAL DEPARTURE TIMES
Check in time is 2pm on the day of arrival. The premises must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure unless by prior arrangement with the owners. Failure
to vacate the property by 10am will result in an extra day's tariff being charged.If you intend to arrive after hours, please phone during business hours. On departure
please leave the keys on the kitchen bench and shut the front door securely.
6. INCLUSIONS
The property is fully self contained including a fully equipped kitchen but not including household linen. You will need to provide sheets, towels, tea towels and
pillow cases. Linen can be hired at a charge of $20 per person per stay.
7. PETS
No pets are permitted. If
animals are found at the premises, the occupants will be automatically
liable for fumigation of the property and the tenancy will be
terminated immediately.
8. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
As
a guest, you are responsible for damages, breakages and any losses
during your stay. Please report any damages or breakages promptly. Guests
are
requested to leave the property in a condition similar to how it
was found. Excess cleaning costs (including dishwashing & rubbish
removal) will otherwise apply.
9. BEHAVIOUR
Guests
are requested not to use language or engage in behaviour that will
cause offence or embarrassment to neighbours or the
community.
10. GARBAGE
Garbage
is a major local issue and bins must be put out on SUNDAY night, or a $20 fee
will apply.
The RED top bin is for general waste. It is emptied WEEKLY. The YELLOW top bin is for recyclable waste. It is emptied FORTNIGHTLY. The GREEN top bin is
for garden waste such as grass clippings. It is emptied MONTHLY. Do not mix the types of waste as the bins will not be collected.
11. FISH CLEANING/GUTTING
This is not permitted at any time. Seafood
waste is not to be placed in any bins Please use the public facilities provided by the seashore.
12. COMPLAINTS OR MAINTENANCE REQUESTS
